He is a holder of BSC in Civil Engineering (JKUAT) and Masters of Science in Disaster Management (University of Free State, SA)

Gladys Kalimi

Gladys joined the board in April 2018 and is currently the Head of HR and Admin for Concern Worldwide – Kenya, Somalia & Somali-land. She has over 15 years work experience, of which 10+ of these have been in Senior Management. She is pursuing a PhD in Leadership and Governance and holds a MA in Medical Sociology, BA in Social Work and Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management Being a director, Gladys will help in closely monitoring and ensuring compliance with, establishment and review of relevant policies among them credit policies and staff recruitment policies. This will empower the company with knowledge to ensure their sustainability from within as well as take care of the interests of its shareholders


Jennifer Musyoki

She was appointed as a Board member of Kimisitu Invest in the 8th AGM in 2019. An experienced Accountant and Administration professional with a unique background in Finance, Administration, Logistics and Procurement. She possess expertise in project management and have proven ability to manage tasks and projects to the highest standards, with meticulous attention to detail and within agreed targets and deadlines. With over 10 years experience of providing comprehensive high quality finance, Administration and Accounting services. She hold a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University(UK),Association of Chartered Certified Accountants(ACCA 11),Diploma in Business Administration, Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business trained in Financial Management by University Washington and in Economics by World Bank Institute.

Patrick Alubbe

Patrick Alubbe is the Executive Director at Kenya Water for Health Organization (KWAHO). He has his background in Water Engineering (BSC Water Engineering) and a master in Organizational Leadership (MOL) a field that he has worked in for the last 30 years. He a member of Engineering Board of Kenya (EBK) and Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Kenya. He has experience in water works constructions, water supply management, low cost water technologies, water governance, sanitation technologies and organization leadership and is one of the pioneers involved in the market based WASH financial solutions. He has worked as the Regional Director at East Africa Office for 12 years overseeing actives in East Africa including Ethiopia. During the period he initiated partnerships with a myriad of financial institutions both local and International NGOs to facilitate access to water and sanitation through market based solutions. He has also worked as a lead Technical person at SANA International, a District Program Manager with the former Rural Domestic Water Supply and Sanitation Program a Bilateral program between the Netherlands and Kenya Government and in public service Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in the Design and Planning section. He has been involved in many international forums, where he has delivered key note speeches. He was honored in 2016 as one of fifty most impactful leaders in water and water management globally. He currently sits on Water Supply Sanitation Collaborative Council Steering Committee in Geneva Switzerland, Kimisitu investment Board and KEWASNET Governing Council.

Isaac Odul

Isaac joined the board in April 2018 and is a gifted administrator with multi-tasking skills cutting across facets of the organization. He is currently serving in the Board of Kimisitu Sacco Ltd as Secretary to the Credit Committee. He holds a degree in Business Information Technology from Mount Kenya University, Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Institute Management-KIM and an IMIS Diploma from The Institute for the Management of Information Systems-IMIS UK. He has been pivotal in the administration affairs at the International Center for Research in Agroforestry- ICRAF for solid five years to date. With more than sixteen years of transformation work experience in diverse areas, he harbors a lot of expertise in administration, Information Systems, project planning, budgeting, credit and risk assurance control.

Moses Mungoni

He was appointed as a Board member of Kimisitu Invest in the 8th AGM in 2019. A Disaster Risk Management Specialist with over 12 years of global development and humanitarian experience with the World Bank, United Nations and the Red Cross. Environment Management and Community Development Specialist. Proven strengths in projects design, project cycle management and resource mobilization.

Fridah Nkirote

Ms Fridah Nkirote joined the board in 2020. She has over 15 years’ experience in risk management and compliance with specific skills in management information systems and organization development and management gained from the private, public and Non-Governmental Organizations sectors.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in entrepreneurship and strategic management Information Systems (MIS) from Kenyatta University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Kenyatta University. In addition, she holds Diplomas in Computer Programming and process automation and Implementation from NIIT, Nairobi and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).
He is currently pursuing a post-graduate Diploma in Project Management from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Kenya Institute of Management.

Fridah is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Algorithm Consulting firm, a fast-growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) where she is responsible for provision of strategic leadership. She is also a founder and trustee Shanga Foundation, a community-based organization focused on improved livelihood for all. She deeply passionate about leadership and volunteer work as evidenced in her current position; Mentor with Global Gove Back Circles by Mastercard Foundation, Board Member at Rotary Club of Nairobi Muthaiga, International Business Networking, Association of Women Accountants of
Kenya, among others.

Her burning desire is to support institutional growth and sustainability with adequate return on investment and this is the vision she brings to Kimisitu investment Company PLC.

Simon Mburu

is an experienced and accomplished financial and administration professional who has served in several reputable organisations. He has a cumulative experience of over 20 years in financial management, operations, logistics, procurement, budgets and budgetary management, human resources, and general administration. He has previously worked with International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), University of Washington/KEMRI, Aga Khan University Hospital, and most recently Partners in Health Research and Development (PHRD) as the Finance and Administration Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) majoring in international business from United States International University (USIU). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountant (ICPA-K). He also holds a certification in leadership and management from the University of Washington.
