Simon Mburu is an experienced and accomplished financial and administration professional who has served in several reputable organisations. He has a cumulative experience of over 20 years in financial management, operations, logistics, procurement, budgets and budgetary management, human resources, and general administration. He has previously worked with International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), University of Washington/KEMRI, Aga Khan University Hospital, and most recently Partners in Health Research and Development (PHRD) as the Finance and Administration Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) majoring in international business from United States International University (USIU). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountant (ICPA-K). He also holds a certification in leadership and management from the University of Washington.
Elijah joined the board in April 2022.He has a background in Water and Environmental Engineering (Bachelor of Science in Soil, Water and Environmental Engineering) from JKUAT and a Master of Science degree in Project Planning and Management, JKUAT. He is also a graduate member of Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
Currently working for Samaritan’s Purse, International Relief – Kenya programs as the WASH Coordinator. Has experience in areas of Sanitary Engineering, Water construction works, community water resources and projects management, water governance, sanitation and Hygiene technologies.
Justa Mwangi joined the board in April 2023.She is a global expert in public policy, strategic management and communications. She has over 30 years of extensive experience in strategic planning for governments, multinational companies and non-profits. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree with a specialization in English Language from Moi University and a Master of Science degree in Public Relations, from the University of Stirling, UK. She recently completed her PhD (doctorate) in Public Policy and Management from Kenyatta University. She also additionally attended a Strategic Leadership Development Programme by the Kenya School of Government. She has also worked in senior management positions regionally and globally. She was the Public Relations Manager for multinational companies Del Monte and SAB Miller PLC and was the Head of External Relations for a major overseas programme run by the Wellcome Trust. She also worked as a Member of the County Executive Board at the County Government of Embu.
Philip Mutisya Nzioki joined the board in May 2023.He is a gifted and polished expert in programs implementation, monitoring, evaluation, management, planning, budgeting, proposal writing and advocacy. He has over 15years experience in programs implementation and management for both international and local NGOs.
He is a senior program officer with Centre for Heath Solutions and a Director with Countryside Developers, Palace Steamz and Masinga Magic Supplies Ltd companies. He holds BSc in Nursing (Moi University) and is currently pursuing a masters in Public Health (JKUAT) with extensive training in leadership and governance. He brings along wealth of experience in implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects as well as good governance practices that will see Kimisitu Investment grow in the next frontier.
